Hi John

You might be interested to know that I put the new MacSpeech Dictate through its paces over the weekend.  We have a tough test passage that we have used previously in our research (see our past speech recognition research on our web site).  The result was very impressive.  With the minimum training and no further practice, I achieve 97% accuracy!  That is higher than we have ever achieved with any speech recognition software, Windows or Mac based.

I will write a more detailed review later.

Regards

The above is posted with the kind permission of the author.  We have had many positive feedbacks (too many to post actually) here in Australia/NZ as were the same experienced elsewhere.  The negatives (5 in total directly sent to us (all related to bad disks and bugs)) are definitely in the minority and on the bugs that have been widely publicised already.  That's not bad considering we have shipped 668 copies (since late March) and would have shipped more if we did not have constrained supply.

We would welcome all comments (Good or Bad) as that's the only way we will know how to improve this great product.
