This is John from MacSense Australia, distributor representative of MacSpeech for Australia and New Zealand. Dictate should be shipping in Australia shortly (some time next week is my expectation).
We will try to fulfill all existing iListen customers crossgrades first to reward them for their past business and patience. Then we will fulfill new customers orders via our channel partners on a FIFO basis. So it is important to place your order early to secure supply.
Dictate will continue to evolve and it will automatically search for new updates every time it is launched (or it can be done manually, otherwise). All such updates will be free unless it is a major Upgrade.
